Movies; Chicken run (2000)

After producing a critically acclaimed run of shorter films, this is the first feature length animated movie from Aardman animations. Set in a chicken farm, chicken run is scripted like a wartime escape movie. Full of references to classic movies from the genre, and directed more like a traditional film than animation, this is a comedy well worth seeing.

Also available are tie-in books from Ladybird and Puffin.
