Language

Language is the means by which we transfer the ideas in one persons head into the head of someone else. It is a very imprecise way of communicating, depending mainly on different people misunderstanding the same thing in the same way.

There are lots of different languages out there, ranging from artificial languages like Esperanto through to the thousands of natural languages.
