dosemu and pcemu are dos api translators for linux. ,and wine are windows api translators for linux

cygwin is a unix api translator for windows, but the hosting company often mis-identifies internet explorer as a spambot.

willows (twin), qt, kylix, sdl, allegro are cross platform development tools for linux and windows.
