Dial-up Internet Service Providers

Most ISP's are now Broadband Internet Service Providers, but it is also necessary to have dial-up access as well. A simple example which is all too common is "my broadband is down", "sorry, please report the problem via the website...". Do spot the deliberate mistake here ;-)

They also typically provide a free hosting, which has issues. Beware of throttling of bandwidth, it makes your site look invisible to search engines.

Of course, once you start getting a reasonable sized website, you will probably want to get a domain name and then Get some hosting.
